When was the last time you got a letter in the mail?
You know, an actual piece of paper in an envelope with a stamp on it. Something tangible. And not a card, either; birthday greetings and Christmas wishes don't count.

Yeah, me too. Or at least, I would have been if you asked me a couple of hours ago.
I don't think I would be exaggerating when I say that I get at least one hundred emails per day. Most of them are work related, but definitely a few from friends and family too. And even though a lovely message from a friend can make me smile, cry, or otherwise feel, it just can't compare to the giddy pleasure of discovering something other than a bill in my mailbox.

Smiles, somewhat in short supply today, have been replenished. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning, discovering Santa brought me something that I didn't even know that I wanted until it was right there in front of me.

Aw, that is so sweet! Getting mail is a pretty special thing. I remember when I got a small little book arrive in the mail from a certain someone that made me just giddy. Happy day to you Ms C.

That´s wonderful! :-D I actually got a new pen-friend last summer and we keep writing REAL letters to each other!
