Happy Christmas

Season’s greetings, but not for me. This holiday card (sent airmail from England) is intended for the previous occupants.

They just live across town, so I sneak it into their mailbox, special delivery - same as always, for eight years running.

It’s too late for “return to sender” now. Poor faraway family, ignorance is bliss.

Here are my fifty-five words for G-Man's Friday 55. Head on over and see what others had to say this week, and maybe give the F55 a shot yourself.

Aww what a sweet Christmas card
I think that effort would be kinder than the card itself
enjoy your holidays :)

You'd think the recipients would say something. They could pretend they just moved *g*

I always felt horrible about getting overseas mail for our previous occupants, he'd died before we bought and she died 4 yrs later (12 years ago) and the letters were in Dutch.

I regularly get that kind of mail too, but for close neighbours, not previous occupants of my house. It always makes me wonder whether poor handwriting, or bad eyesight is the cause of permanent mis-direction. *smiles*
