I'm just back from my three-day Fall getaway up north. Husbands, children, work and stress are left behind. Friendship, food, and a few drinks are what we run to. Oh, and the Great Outdoors, of course.
Northern Ontario is quite beautiful in the autumn; have a look, if you'd like. Pictures include (but are not limited to) trees, bear poo, relics from an eighty year old garbage dump, and the beaver dam we used as a "bridge" to cross the river.

I return, a peaceful soul.

nice...glad you had a great time....
Nice photos. It's nice to get away once in awhile, at least until you start missing home.
Kudos on your peaceful soul!
After looking at your photos, I'd have returned a peaceful soul too.
What...???
No Beaver Scat?
It is gorgeous up north this time of year - I haven't been in awhile. Glad you got a change to decompress :)
Lovely. (breathing in some of your peace!) :)
Sounds like a tradition I need to get in on. Autumn is a beautiful time of year, even here where seasons are subtle. Up and over there, it looks glorious. I think I'm on the wrong coast, on the wrong half of the continent.
